The Italian Welfare League Archival Research Collection website is a project developed by Maeve Dwyer, Laura Dellova, and Richard Jones. The website serves as an integral element to the Academic Service-Learning component of St. John’s University’s LIS 238 course. For more information on Academic- Service Learning please Click Here.

The purpose of this collection is to celebrate the Italian Welfare League Centennial by providing history on one its prominent members, Arturo Toscanini. Our site aims to illustrate Arturo Toscanini’s musical legacy history and his contributions to the league through image and narrative.
